It’s no secret that I absolutely adore Liz Earle. Cleanse & Polish is one of my all time favourite, if not my favourite, cleanser. I was perusing the website to stock up on the original cleanser when I came across this limited edition cleanser containing orange flower and chamomile. Sounds pretty great, doesn’t it? As well as nabbing the original, I popped the limited edition cleanser in to my basket as well. It’s for the blog guys, it’s for the blog. Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser has a multi-award winning formula that has won a massive 100 awards. How incredible is that? Liz Earle is such an amazing British brand that I can’t recommend enough when it comes to skincare. This limited edition cleanser has the exact same award winning formula but with a few added extras – it also contains soothing orange flower water and chamomile. It has a very sweet but very subtle scent which I actually think I prefer to the original. It is the perfect scent for Summer, fresh and clean. I have been using this cleanser for the past few weeks now so that I can get a proper feel for it and see how the results compare to the original and I have to say, it is equally as impressive and effective as the classic. I used to use Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish with a muslin cloth but since having the Magnitone Pulsar, I’ve been using it with that instead – the perfect skincare duo. I usually wet my face, apply one pump of the cleanser to the brush head of my Magnitone Pulsar and massage it all over my face for one minute or so before rinsing it off with warm water. If you don’t have a cleansing brush then alternatively, just apply one pump to your skin and massage it in with your fingers before removing with a warm muslin cloth. The orange flower and chamomile version of the Cleanse & Polish feels really creamy but much lighter on my skin than the original. It left my skin feeling incredibly smooth, soft and clean without feeling remotely drying or tight. My skin actually felt really hydrated and nourished. I found that the addition of chamomile as well as the original ingredient of cocoa butter really helped soothe my red and congested skin. My skin feels and looks great at the moment. It’s safe to say that I love this limited edition cleanser as much as the original. It makes me slightly sad that it is only ‘limited’ as it is beautiful.
