This fabulous little glass bottle of orange goodness has been an absolute god send to me and it has very quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. Pai’s Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil helps to refine the appearance of damaged skin, it contains high levels of Trans Retinoic Acid which delivers Pro-Vitamin A to the skin without causing irritation, it is rich in Omegas 3, 6, 7 and 9 and it is the most concentrated Rosehip Oil on the market today. It contains a mixture of Rosehip Seed Oil and Rosehip Fruit Oil using volcanically extracted CO2 to give it a purer concentration. It also contains carotenoids which is were it gets that deep orange colour. I’ve tried a few Rosehip Oils in the past and they’ve all been cold pressed and lost some of that fabulous colour as well as the concentration. Basically, moving away from the science-y bit, this oil is good for you and your skin – it helps maintain great skin and cellular health as well as having awesome anti-oxidant properties. What I have always loved about Pai is how natural and organic their products are and I can safely say that I have never bought one single product from Pai that I haven’t absolutely loved, especially the Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser and Geranium & Thistle Cream. Rosehip Oil is suitable for all skin types and it really helps to repair your skin from the likes of sun damage, acne scarring and even stretch marks. I have oily/combination skin that is prone to hormonal breakouts and I did have acne through my teenage years so I have a bit of scarring and the results from using this oil over the past few months have been phenomenal. It has really helped my skin to get back to ‘normal’, conditioning it, improving its firmness and elasticity as well as reducing the visibility of noticeable scarring. It has even helped tame and reduce some seriously unwanted spotty visitors as it really gets under the skin and works from within. I use around 2-3 drops of Pai’s Rosehip Oil before bed, after serum but before moisturising and I then massage it in to my skin making sure I’ve covered my entire face and leave for a minute or two to absorb. Sometimes, if I’m feeling a little adventurous I may use 4-5 drops. Joking aside, I do adore facial oils and I own my fair share of them but nothing compares to this beauty. It is a big claim I know but it is true. My skin feels softer, smoother and more supple but more importantly, it looks less congested, clearer, healthier, firmer and less uneven and patchy due to scarring and redness. I have also been using Pai’s Rosehip Oil in a little test to compare how it works compared to the likes of Bio-Oil in the reduction of visible stretch marks but that’s for another day so watch this space. This stuff is really pretty darn good and I can’t rave about it enough. It has totally transformed my dull and uneven looking skin like nothing else I’ve tried before (and believe me I’ve tried A LOT) and made my horrible acne scarring a thing of the past. It is suitable for all skin types – Mature (helps with fine lines and wrinkles), Dry (helps nourish and hydrate) and Combination/Oily (helps regulate oil, clear skin, nourish and hydrate). This is a must have in everyone’s skincare stash! It is amazing – trust me – you need this in your life!
