GUEST POST: Cats and Vodka – Autumn Lipsticks.

Hello there, Erin’s lovely readers; I’m Alex from over at Cats and Vodka and I’ll be giving you the low-down on my favourite Autumn Lipsticks.

The berry tones are out in force at the moment and as the weather has taken a turn for the worst who can blame me.

Make up Revolution in Reckless – Make up Revolution are quickly becoming a staple in my make up bag. Their lipsticks are one little pound including this gorgeous shade Reckless. It’s very wine toned red that I love popping on for some vampy glamour.

Kate Moss for Rimmel in Shade 107 – okay so it’s the blogger autumn lipstick but who can blame me. The matte texture isn’t super drying like some matte lipsticks are and the depth of colour is lovely. It’s pretty similar to the Make up Revolution offering but at nearly £6 it’s a little bit more expensive. Plus its matte so I had to have it.

Kate Moss for Rimmel in Shade 01 – This is my red lipstick. If I want to feel like I can take over the world this is the lipstick I put on. It’s not a blue red like Ruby Woo by MAC it’s much more on the berry side of things making it more suited for the darker months.

Creme Cup, Mac – Bit of a change up. I’ve fallen in love with Creme Cup and the whole winter pastel trend. It goes perfectly for that fresh, crisp make up look or to tone down a smoky, autumn eye look.

Well there you have it, my favourite lipsticks I’ll be reaching for this Autumn. Thank you again to the lovely Erin for having me and if you want to pop over to my blog that would be lovely!

Love, Alex.

Some lovely colour choices here, I hadn’t seen the make up revolution one before, I might have to check it out.
