Yes my lovely readers, I know exactly what you are thinking and yes I do own other lipsticks that arent’t MAC Cosmetics. Every now and again, I like to throw another brand in to the mix as I do own A LOT of lipsticks but yes, the majority of them are from MAC. This weeks lipstick of choice is Cherub from Illamasqua’s Glamore Nudes collection which was released a few months back. It is described by Illamasqua as a ‘soft warm coral’ with a satin finish and it is a beautiful shade that I can’t get enough of this week. What I adore about Illamasqua’s Glamore lipsticks is that they are an absolute dream to apply unlike their original line up which can be terribly drying – formula wise they are miles apart. These lipsticks are creamy, easy to apply and completely non-drying. They are wonderful and offer a slight glossy sheen. The Glamore release was a great one which saw seven varying nude lip shades that work for different skin tones – neutral, warm and cool. Cherub was my absolute favourite of the bunch and I’m sure you an see why. It is a fabulous, wearable, every day kinda shade that can be built up for more intensity. Illamasqua lipsticks retail slightly higher than MAC but they really do have the most wonderful formula, shade range and intense pigmentation that they are well worth the additional £3.00.
Did you get your hands on any of Illamasqua’s Glamore Nudes range? If so, what shades?
