Blogs to Follow in 2016.

Over the past few weeks or so, my Twitter timeline has been filled with anonymous love for bloggers from other bloggers. It has been truly wonderful to see and it is part and parcel of why I really love the blogging community, and my small corner of the Internet. The blogging spirit is at an all time high and I have rekindled my love of blogging – reading blogs, writing blogs, the whole she-bang. I thought that it’d be a good idea to share some of my favourite blogs from 2015, some new and some seasoned favourites, for you to add to your reading lists this year.

Up first, the lovely Laura over at Laurzrah. I have never encountered anyone (real life or otherwise) that can enable me quite as much as this girl. It is the first blog I check every morning to see what new beauty products she is ranting and raving about, and then I ultimately end up buying them, immediately. Since religiously reading Laura’s blog, my bank balance has taken quite the hit – her posts are beautifully presented, written and her make up collection is what my dreams are made of. Serious swoon material.

Now this is a blog I have been reading for quite some time so naturally it had to go on to the list. The Sunday Girl is jam packed with detailed and in depth reviews of anything and everything beauty wise. If I ever find myself umm’ing and ahh’ing over a particular product then I’ll instantly head over to this blog to check out Adrienne’s thoughts on the matter. I trust her reviews whole heartedly as we have a very similar skin type and if she says that something is worth purchasing then it most certainly is. No questions asked.

Next up we have the lovely Latasha over at The Cosmetic Aesthetic. Her blog is seriously gorgeous and enough to induce serious blogger envy. Her attention to detail is really something else – her photographs are always so crisp, clean and well thought out. This blog is literally the epitome of ‘photography goals’. Not only are her photos such a joy to look at but her content is incredible and a pleasure to read.

This is a relatively new blog to me but one that I now can’t quite live without. It’s a goodun. Vix Meldrew is filled with hilariously funny lifestyle posts, and I have spent hours and hours uncontrollably laughing my way through her blog. Some of the topics she discusses such as online dating are so true to life that you can really relate, and imagine yourself in that situation. It makes it all the more hilarious. I can’t wait to see what material she brings in 2016 – I know it will be a hoot and a half with a decent amount of beauty for good measure.

Ahh Zoe Newlove, a fellow Northern lass like myself. Zoe is a make up artist and her make up is ALWAYS on point – I don’t think I’ve ever seen her looking anything but flawless. God damn you woman! I love hearing her expertise about how to apply make up and reading all of her beauty posts. I also enjoy watching her put all of the beauty products to the test as she always makes everything look so beautiful, and so effortless. I do often try (and the keyword here is try) to recreate a lot of the looks that she does myself, but I fail quite miserably most of the time. Everything that she puts on to her face just works.
What have been your go-to blogs of 2015?
